What is a Virtual Jam?

A Virtual Jam is a community setting where people get to come together and submit ideas, projects and pictures and videos of code and projects. They also get to follow projects and win prizes. The current theme is Go Bananas which means you have to create a project to make our judges laugh.

What are the prizes?

We are giving away a chance for the best project to be submitted to Coder Dojo's Coolest Project event in Dublin where there are more prizes. We also have Bare Conductive vouchers and ModMyPi gift cards.

Where I can take part from?

You can take part from anywhere in the world, this is why we are doing it across a whole week.

Who can I do it with?

You must have a group with no more than 15, unless you are a code club or a Jam. You could:

  • Do it in a code club?

  • Do it in a jam?

  • Do it with your friends?

  • Do it by yourself?

Every single person in the team will get a certificate and your ‘group’ or yourself can win the prizes on the day.

Why online?

It means you can do things at your own pace and in your own time. Also it means that everyone can take part.
